About Me
As a designer and facilitator, I've worked with some great teams to create meaningful interactive products. My experience managing design and dev teams is based on a proven, scalable process for large companies and for small start-ups. I like to cultivate healthy, inspirational cultures within projects, teams, and organizations.
I am spreading the love at Nashville Software School. There’s the night class UI-UX Digital Product Design and I worked with co-instructor Brenda Long on the FEWDD Bootcamp (Front End Web Design & Development).
I am a Senior Product Designer for Wilmington Trust, part of M&T Bank.
I was the UX Lead for AllianceBernstein.
I recently designed and managed the release of Nurse Backpack.
I created a faux-company project to be able to provide a full idea-to-delivery example for my class that wouldn’t violate any NDAs.
My team designed the first cable TV app for iPad (Not streaming video. We actually replicated everything you could do on a cable box. It was the number one app at the App Store for a while. Learned so much and invented things as we went. There was no example to copy!)
I am also a co-founder of the Nashville Diaper Connection, which is on a mission to end diaper needs in Nashville's underserved neighborhoods. I am extremely lucky to have found the love of my life and built a large, extended family together — including two fluffy 80+ pound dogs. In a different world, I’d be a full-time glassblower.
